Balloons are never missing among party decors in all types of events. They are can be placed anywhere to promote an atmosphere fit for a celebration. Birthday parties, anniversaries, weddings, you name the occasion and there is a right type and color of balloon for each one. Some balloons have writings in them others are just plain, but regardless of your preference, everybody loves balloons. Balloons are so fun that there are even performers who specialize in making shapes out of them. They twist elongated balloons to imitate the shape of familiar objects, mostly animals. The entertainers I speak of are fittingly called twisters.
They serve as entertainers and artists at the same time. It doesn’t matter what shape you want if you can name it, these professionals can make a balloon art out of it. Pumps are becoming a trend among twisters today , in contrast to the old school twisters that use their own lungs in blowing balloons. This brings us to the two types of balloon modeling which is the single balloon modeling and the multiple balloon modeling.
The usual design with single balloon modeling is mostly the shape of animals for the kids. Most twisters first master a common set of animals which are easy to make such as dogs, cats and giraffes. The risk of popping the creation can be the complexity of using a single balloon. People may also be less impressed with a single balloon because it may look easier than it actually is.
It’s easier to impress people by using multiple balloons in the design. Innovations by modern twisters have made it possible to create more complicated and larger designs. Because some of the largest and best models have become show pieces for major events, the art of multiple balloon modeling have been called balloons sculpting. Modern twisters with their mad skills have even created balloons decorations larger than a regular person.
There was even Transformer robot made of balloons in Singapore. Multiple balloon modeling can be done from two balloons; usually in different colors, to as many balloons as the design requires. Not all balloon sculpture are made of 100% balloons, some have cardboards or tougher materials for support. Even though the large multiple balloon models impresses more people, there are still room for single balloons for children and twister performances.
Though the two types of balloon sculpting may seem similar, very different skill sets are required to pull off each successfully. Professionals even make their own one of a kind set of equipments to give their creations an edge from other twisters. To know more about balloons in Singapore, you can visit this link.
